6th grade has been learning about Roman and Byzantine cultures and art in social studies. Today, they got to try out their own skills at making mosaics of their own.

JAG students had the opportunity to learn about careers and paid internships offered through MO-DOT, read blue prints and build a bridge. Thank you Desley and Travis.
In art, the students have been learning about "variety."
Variety is a principle added by an artist to create interest in their piece by using SEVERAL art elements like: color, texture, line, shape/form, pattern, and value. Check out the students' take on variety! More to come as the students finish up!
